These terms apply when you play Frontier Pool or visit frontierpool.online. By using the game you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.

Using Frontier Pool

Frontier Pool is a free game provided as it is. You may play it for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You must be at least 13 years old.

Play fair, be decent

• Do not cheat: no modified clients, no bots or scripts that play for you in online matches, no exploiting bugs against other players. Tell us about bugs instead.
• Do not harass, threaten or spam other players, and do not use hateful, sexual or illegal nicknames or chat.
• Do not impersonate others.
• Do not attack, overload or probe the service. If you want to test its security, ask us first.

Online matches and moderation

The server is the authority in online matches. It checks shots, applies the rules and decides the result. We may end a match, change or block a nickname, or block access to the service if these terms are broken or to protect the service or other players.

Rules and physics

The game follows documented house rules for eight-ball, nine-ball, ten-ball, straight pool, snooker and six-red snooker. It is not an official or tournament-compliant implementation, and its physics is not calibrated to any real table. Frontier Pool has no stakes and must not be used for betting or wagering.

The service can change

We may change, pause or end the game or any feature at any time. There are no accounts, ratings or saved progress that we promise to keep.

Our content, and yours

The game, its code, artwork, models and the Frontier Pool name belong to us or our licensors. You may play the game, but you may not copy, redistribute or resell it, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.

You keep ownership of what you write in chat. By sending it you allow us to relay it to the players and spectators in your match.

No warranty and limited liability

The game is provided without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss from using or being unable to use the game. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any statutory rights you have as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the game after a change means you accept it.
